Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its position as one of the world’s leading humanitarian donors, providing more than $142 billion in aid to 173 countries through thousands of relief, development and charitable initiatives. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, supervisor-general of KSrelief, highlighted the Kingdom’s expanding global role during a lecture in London.
He noted that Saudi Arabia ranks first in the Arab world in foreign assistance and is among the top contributors globally. Under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the country’s humanitarian outreach has widened significantly in recent years.
Since its creation in 2015, KSrelief has carried out more than 3,800 projects worth over $8.25 billion across 109 countries, supporting key sectors such as healthcare, food security, education and water. Al-Rabeeah emphasized that Saudi Arabia remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities worldwide.
