Qatar PM, Saudi Foreign Minister Discuss Regional Escalation and Peaceful Solutions

Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, held a telephone conversation with Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, to discuss the growing military escalation in the region and its potential impact on global security and stability.
During the call, both leaders reviewed the latest developments in the ongoing tensions and stressed the need to resolve disputes through diplomatic and peaceful means. They highlighted the serious consequences that continued escalation could have on regional and international stability.
The two officials also condemned the recent attacks attributed to Iran targeting Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and other countries in the region. They emphasized the urgent need to halt all escalatory actions and called for an immediate return to dialogue and negotiations.
Both sides underscored the importance of prioritizing calm, wisdom, and diplomacy to contain the crisis and maintain regional security. They also stressed the need to strengthen coordination among Arab nations to effectively address the current challenges facing the region.
