The Saudi Cabinet has welcomed the second phase of the peace plan for the Gaza Strip, endorsing the formation of a Palestinian committee to administer the territory and supporting the announcement of the Board of Peace by US President Donald Trump.
During a cabinet session held in Riyadh and chaired by King Salman, ministers stressed the urgent need for a ceasefire in Gaza and the delivery of humanitarian aid. They reiterated support for the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza and called for an end to the Israeli occupation to enable the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, in line with international resolutions, the Arab Peace Initiative, and the two-state solution.

Ministers highlighted the Kingdom’s continued humanitarian and development efforts in neighboring countries as part of its broader regional engagement.
