Saudi Arabia, Intel Deepen Cooperation in Semiconductors and AI Development

Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Al-Swaha met with Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan in Washington to explore new areas of collaboration in semiconductors, advanced computing, and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
The discussions focused on building strategic partnerships to enhance the Kingdom’s capabilities in chip manufacturing and AI-driven technologies, as part of its broader digital transformation agenda under Saudi Vision 2030.
The meeting underscored Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a global hub for innovation, with a focus on localizing high-tech value chains, boosting the competitiveness of its digital economy, and advancing leadership in future technologies.
