Saudi Minister Alswaha, Google Chief Discuss Expanding Partnership in AI and Digital Infrastructure

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Alswaha met with Ruth Porat, President and Chief Investment Officer of Alphabet and Google, in Riyadh on Monday to discuss strengthening strategic cooperation in digital transformation.
The meeting focused on expanding collaboration in digital infrastructure, data centers, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. Both sides explored opportunities for high-impact investments aimed at accelerating Saudi Arabia’s digital growth and innovation.
They also discussed initiatives to empower the Kingdom’s innovation ecosystem, foster digital entrepreneurship, and enhance national capabilities in advanced technologies. The talks underscored their shared commitment to boosting the competitiveness of Saudi Arabia’s digital economy in alignment with Vision 2030.
