Saudi Arabia Expands Premium Direct Flights to Europe with New Agreement

Saudi Arabia’s Air Connectivity Program (ACP) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the luxury airline beOnd to potentially initiate direct all-premium flights connecting the Red Sea International Airport with six prominent European cities. The proposed flight routes would link the Red Sea destination with London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Zurich, and Moscow, thereby enhancing international traveler access and bolstering the Kingdom’s burgeoning tourism sector.

The agreement was formalized at the Farnborough International Airshow in 2026, held in London. It aligns with Saudi Arabia’s strategic plans under Vision 2030 to enhance global air connectivity and attract a greater number of visitors. The collaboration aims to boost inbound tourism, widen travel options, and establish the Red Sea as a premier luxury travel destination.

Officials have expressed that this partnership is designed to not only increase tourism but also foster long-term economic growth through strengthened aviation and tourism connections. This initiative is part of broader efforts to position Saudi Arabia as a key player in the global luxury travel market.

beOnd, known for its premium leisure travel services, emphasized that this partnership underscores its dedication to supporting Saudi Arabia’s tourism goals. The airline aims to extend its high-end travel services to the Kingdom, thereby contributing to the national vision of expanding the tourism and aviation sectors.
