Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, recently engaged in discussions with his Iranian and Pakistani counterparts regarding regional developments, as reported by the Saudi Foreign Ministry on Monday. The conversations were part of ongoing diplomatic efforts concerning Pakistani mediation between Iran and the United States.
During a phone call with Iran’s Abbas Araghchi, Prince Faisal focused on the progress of diplomatic talks between Iran and the US. Both officials underscored the significance of diplomatic solutions in addressing regional tensions, according to information from the ministry.
In a separate call, Prince Faisal reached out to Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar. The dialogue centered around Pakistan’s role as a mediator in the efforts to reduce hostilities between Iran and the United States.
The discussions highlighted the consistent support from both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan for diplomatic avenues to foster regional stability. Both nations emphasized their commitment to backing efforts that aim to restore peace in the area.
