During an official visit to the Maldives, Saudi Minister of State Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutaib bin Abdulaziz met with the newly elected Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The visit coincided with celebrations for the 61st anniversary of the Maldives’ independence, underscoring the robust diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and the Maldives.

Upon his arrival at Velana International Airport, Prince Mansour received a warm welcome from key Maldivian officials. Among those greeting him were Maldivian Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, Principal Secretary to the President on Foreign Relations Mohamed Naseer, and Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives Yahya Hassan Al-Qahtani.
