Trump Claims Iran’s “Navy is Gone” as Conflict Nears Completion

Date:

President Donald Trump has announced that the Iranian navy has been “totally taken out,” with all major vessels destroyed by U.S. and Israeli strikes. Trump stated that the war is “very complete, pretty much,” as the Iranian regime no longer has the means to project power at sea. He described the operation as a “short-term excursion” that was necessary to secure the Middle East.
The President’s assessment comes as Mojtaba Khamenei takes the reigns of power in Tehran, a move Trump has dismissed as a “mistake.” Trump Refused to recognize the new leader, suggesting that his appointment is a temporary measure in a failing state. Meanwhile, coalition forces have shifted their focus to destroying remaining drone manufacturing plants and missile storage bunkers.
Trump argued that the U.S. is “very far ahead of schedule,” having initially planned for a much longer campaign. He praised the “technical skill” of the military, which he says has achieved its goals without the need for a massive ground invasion. The President’s narrative centers on a “clean and decisive” victory that protects the American homeland.
The economic fallout of the war has been centered on the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran has attempted to block oil shipments. Trump issued a stark warning that any further “bad” actions would result in a U.S. response “twenty times harder.” This aggressive posture helped lower oil prices from their recent highs, offering some stability to global energy markets.
As the conflict enters its second week, the human cost is rising, with over 1,200 reported casualties in Iran and mass displacement in Lebanon. Trump’s focus remains on the “ultimate victory” and the removal of “evil” forces from the region. The administration is now preparing for the final phase of the military mission.
